Three pre-show strategies to ensure you stand out among the crowd.
With so many visitors, standing out at a boat show takes strategy—starting with these three steps will help you get noticed by the boaters that need your product or service.
1. Declare an ambition
Decide what success looks like—sales leads, launching a new product, strengthening client ties, boosting brand awareness, or networking for partnerships.
2. Ignite interest
Promoting your presence prior to the show is key to building traffic in your booth. Most serious shoppers plan their visits in advance, so make sure you’re on their radar. Issue a press release, and send updates via email, web posts, and social media.
Check with your show organizer for more promotional tools. (If you're headed to the Annapolis Sailboat Show, now is the time to reach out, annapolisboatshows.com.)
3. Engineer a dynamic display
Design your exhibit space to be eye-catching, reflect your brand, and invite visitors to stay. Use strong signage, engaging layouts, and create a space that works in any weather
